As you prepare for your JD‑Next test, here is a list of what to expect on test day and the steps you need to complete to ensure your test session runs smoothly:

Register for your JD‑Next Test

Once your JD-Next course opens on Aspen Course, you will see a tab to register for your test date. Complete the form.

Review Required Pretest Guide

Please review the JD‑Next Required Pretest Instructions to ensure your system will meet the requirements to take the JD‑Next Test.

Complete your Required Pretest

In order to be eligible to take the JD‑Next Test, you must first complete the Required Pretest. You can find the required pretest dates in your course under the "Required Pretest" tab.

Review the JD‑Next Test Day Guide

Prior to your test date, please review the JD-Next Test Day Guide to ensure that your device is prepared for your test day.

Complete JD‑Next Test

Two days prior to your JD‑Next Test, you will receive an email from jd.next@aspenpublishing.com with your test code. Enter the code on the LifeJourney Platform to complete your test.

Review Score

About three weeks after you take your JD‑Next Test, you will receive an email with your score report. You can learn more about how to interpret your score report here[link to new score report page].

Send Score Report to Schools

Once you have reviewed your score report, you may then select what schools you would like to send your score to. Follow the instructions here [link to send your score report page] on how to send your score.
